Dave Slusher’s ‘gentle seduction’
I liked Dave Slusher’s commentary on the paranoia of the ‘gentle seduction’ that is and was rife in conservative and religious groups. It’s towards the end of his podcast, the Evil Genius Chronicles (mp3 here). Although the focus seems to have turn away from Satanism and towards the corruption of people’s sexual identity, it is still a concern and when you think about groups such as the FCC in the US being influenced, as mentioned on the Paralyzer and Mr Clean’s recent podcast. These groups should not be allowed to have the ability to censor what we hear/see/think. It is dangerous, far more dangerous than having a few people turn because they watch QAF on a Monday night.
