Strange Tuesday
Weird day today, so I’m a bit ranty
Apparently, it’s homophobia Tuesday today, missed the email pointing that one out. We’ve come a long way.
You cannot be Employer of Choice when you sack half your employees.
And Microsoft have launched MSN Virtual Earth, which seems to be a load of crap. Apple headquarters are missing, the World Trade Centre towers aren’t missing and if you happen to search MSN Virtual Earth, you can expect these kind of results:
Melbourne, Florida, United States
Melbourne, Izard, Arkansas, United States
Melbourne, Mendocino, California, United States
Melbourne, Marshall, Iowa, United States
Melbourne, Campbell, Kentucky, United States
Melbourne, Harrison, Missouri, United States
Melbourne, Anderson, Tennessee, United States
Melbourne, Grays Harbor, Washington, United States
Now truly, the USA has become virtually Earth. Leave innovation to Google, Microsoft. Instead, go back to dumbing down technology and cramming it down our throats. Cue Vista.
Not to let Google off easy, can anyone explain why one of the default thingies you can add to your personalised Google homepage is Ask Yahoo!? And again, why no ASXX0075 weather?
Easy way to create an article: Take every bit of controversial tech news you can find and mash it all together. Take one piece HotCoffee from GTA:SA, mix with PronCasting and serve on a warm bed of ESRB and OFLC.
Well, it’s seems The Age has dropped to this level anyway
On the nice side of the coin, popagandhi has been back in business for a bit now.
I’ll add to this post as things go further downhill today.
