Earth Hour 2008
I can’t say that I’m much of a conservationist, but we did turn all the lights off for Earth Hour last night. There didn’t seem to be too many other people who did as there wasn’t much difference around the city. Even the pictures of the city usually showed one landmark with dimmed lights with the entire city lit up behind it. Still, that’s not the point I guess, it’s the thought that counts and most people knew it was happening and why, so mission accomplished in that respect, I suppose.
